Dr. Bill Fleming has been our pastor since 2002. He is a graduate of Asbury College, Erskine Theological Seminary, and Gordon-Conwell theological seminary. He has been preaching since he was 17, and has been working full-time in the A.R.P. church for 35 years. Dr. Fleming is a writer andas teacher, and has been active in community service and missions.
Dr. Fleming is married to Joy, who teaches visually impaired preschoolers. They have three children and two grandchildren.
Dr. Fleming has worked in churches in the city and in the country; in large churches and small. He has done everything in churches over his career except watch the nursery.
Dr. Fleming's greatest joy in the ministry is preaching and teaching. He believes that the most important job he does is to preach and teach the Bible, and to introduce people to his best friend, Jesus.
"I don't expect you to always agree with me," Dr. Fleming says. "But I do hope you will fall in love with the Bible."
