We Will Study God’s Word with Comprehension.

John 4:24 “They who worship Him must worship in Spirit and in Truth.”

God is Spirit, so he must be worshipped with our Spirit—the emotional, passionate, side of us.

Worship is also the truth.  He is also worshipped with the intellectual and practical side.

II Tim 3:16-17 speaks of the importance of the believing and living the truth.

" All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

rue learning involves three elements.

Possessing information.  This is knowing the facts of the Bible.

Processing principles. This is the “why” behind the “what.”  It is becoming familiar with the basic, underlying principles on which we base our life and belief.

Practicing skills.
his kind of learning cannot be done through lecture. It requires a close contact and feedback between the teacher and the learner.
Our challenge is not just to read the Bible, but to learn the Bible.

The Bible is a great book, but only if we let it be great.  If we do not believe it, or if we intellectualize it,  it will do us no good.  Drink deep of the Word, of God, and we will know all the great things that God has in store for us.
